Door-to-Door Transportation at Driftwood Day Camp
Safe, Comfortable & Convenient—Because the Driftwood Experience Begins the Moment You Step on the Bus!
The Driftwood Difference
The camp experience begins long before campers arrive at our gates!
At Driftwood Day Camp, we believe the camp experience begins long before campers arrive at our gates! That's why we proudly provide door-to-door transportation for all of our campers, making each morning and afternoon as safe, convenient, comfortable, and enjoyable as possible for both campers and their families.
Air-Conditioned Buses
Every Driftwood bus is air-conditioned, providing campers with a comfortable and enjoyable ride to and from camp. Whether heading out for an exciting day of activities or winding down after a fun-filled afternoon, our campers travel in comfort.
Dedicated Bus Drivers
Every bus is driven by a dedicated Driftwood bus driver who helps create a safe, welcoming, and friendly environment throughout the ride. All drivers are vetted, hold a Commercial Driver's License, and are 19-A certified, with safety as their priority.
Dedicated Bus Counselors
Every bus is accompanied by a dedicated Driftwood Bus Counselor who helps create a safe, welcoming, and friendly environment throughout the ride. Our counselors become familiar faces that campers look forward to seeing each day, helping younger campers feel comfortable, encouraging friendships, and ensuring everyone starts and finishes their day with a smile.
Personally Planned Routes
Our experienced Transportation Director carefully plans and oversees each bus route, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and convenience for our camp families. Every pickup and drop-off is thoughtfully coordinated to provide a smooth and organized transportation experience.
We understand that the bus ride is one of the most important parts of a camper's day. It's their first Driftwood experience each morning and their last before returning home. From the excitement of seeing familiar faces at pickup to sharing stories and laughter with friends on the ride home, our buses are more than just transportation—they're an extension of the Driftwood experience!
Our transportation program is thoughtfully designed with safety, comfort, organization, and personal attention at its core. From carefully planned routes to dedicated bus counselors, every detail is managed to ensure campers begin and end their day feeling happy, secure, and connected to their Driftwood family.
More Than Just a Bus Ride
At Driftwood, we recognize that even the smallest moments can make a lasting impact on a child's summer. A friendly greeting in the morning, a familiar counselor, and a bus filled with camp friends all contribute to the sense of belonging that makes Driftwood so special.
From your doorstep to Driftwood and back again, we're committed to making every mile a positive part of your camper's summer experience!
Extra Care for Our Youngest Campers – Safety Harnesses
We understand that sending your little one off to camp for the first time is a big milestone, and we want our youngest campers and their parents to feel as comfortable and confident as possible! That's why Driftwood provides additional safety harnesses for our youngest campers during their bus rides to and from camp.
These harnesses provide an added level of security and support, helping ensure our littlest campers are safely seated throughout their journey. Combined with our dedicated Bus Counselors, who provide extra attention, reassurance, and assistance, we strive to make every ride a safe, comfortable, and positive experience.
At Driftwood, your child's safety and your peace of mind are always our top priorities. From their very first bus ride to their last day of summer, we take every extra step to ensure our campers feel secure, cared for, and excited for the adventures ahead!
